Elani Allers Lederer studied performing arts technology at Tswane university of technology.  After completing her degree in prosthetics for cinematography. She extended her knowledge of methods and materials by being part of a fabrication team in London (UK) that worked on Fred clause, Narnia 11, Houdini, Borne Ultimatum and The Rome. Returning to South-Africa she continued working on numerous local and international productions and commercials, Cadbury, Puma, Zapiro puppets, Black sails, Kings and prophets & Investec only to name a few.

Through her 17 years experience in the entertainment industry, she has gained outstanding abilities to work in varying and flexible conditions to deliver a high standard of work to strict timelines.
 

Her history of employment and expansive work as a successful fabricator, mould maker, scenic and prosthetic artist has allowed her to attain and developed her own company, Akkerdis.
